Join the Endangered Ark Foundation in Celebrating their newest family member, Dori Marie’s 1st birthday on August 13, 2016 from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Endangered Ark Foundation in Hugo, OK.

Dori Marie joined the 2nd Largest Home of Endangered Asian Elephants in North America on July 28, 2015 weighing in at 324 lbs. Just like any baby, Dori Marie loves to eat and play, and she spends most of day trumpeting around with her bigger than life family. Endangered Ark Foundation is throwing a birthday celebration in honor of baby Dori Marie on, Saturday, August 13th, from 9:00 am  – 12:00 pm and would like to invite everyone to attend.  Secure your “piece of cake” and reservation by registering online at www.endangerdarkfoundation.org or calling 580-317-8470.

Guests and visitors will experience interactive and educational presentations during Dori’s celebration event. Exhibits will include information regarding Elephant Conservation and Preservation, as well as provide unique opportunities to meet the EAF residents up-close and personal. The Endangered Ark Foundation Board respects the intimate understanding of the bonds and partnerships formed between animals and humans, and the need for human involvement an action to save endangered animals. EAF believes that through education, observation, and preservation efforts, they will ensure that people will be able to experience the joy and wonder of Asian elephants for generations to come.

Endangered Ark Foundation is a private non-profit organization that was founded in 1993 by D.R. & Isla Miller. They sought to preserve the extremely endangered Asian Elephant, after more than six decades of caring, working with, and living with their elephants and other animals. The Endangered Ark Foundation is open to the public during pre-scheduled times providing educational opportunities with tours at the facility. 2nd Annual Hugo Pumpkin Festival will once again Partner with Endangered Ark Foundation to Fundraise for Elephants

The 2nd Annual Hugo Pumpkin Festival has partnered with the Endangered Ark Foundation in Hugo to provide support for the care and needs of its residents – the majestic Asian Elephants! A percentage of all proceeds of the festival will be donated to the Endangered Ark Foundation to support its elephants and preservation / conservation efforts.

Festival goers will have a unique opportunity to meet the EAF elephants up close during an educational hay ride through the EAF facility. A special treat for participants will be meeting the newest EAF member: Baby Dori Marie, born on July 28, 2015!

Fundraiser Auction for Endangered Ark Foundation

Friends of the Endangered Ark would like to thank the community for its support of its art auction fundraiser. The goal of the fundraiser is to add more water lines to forested areas that will increase the free roaming habitat for the Endangered Ark Foundation's elephant herd. 

In total, the fundraiser raised $1192 from the art auction itself and $605 in cash donations, with donations still coming in.

Our History
